I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance Vehicle use, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Last night Officers from Rural NPT were again carrying out speed enforcement on Old Kilmore Road Moira and Harrys Road Hillsborough following concerns raised by residents. They also carried out patrols in the Stoneyford and surrounding areas following concerns of Anti Social and dangerous driving. Road safety, ecsooters and speeding are amongst some of your top concerns and We will continue to address these local concerns where and when possible. The use of motorised vehicles such as scramblers, go-peds, buzz boards, quads and mini-motos as a leisure activity can be both exciting and fun, however, as with most outdoor activities the use of these vehicles can in some circumstances be dangerous. E-scooters and the Law E-scooters, scramblers, go-peds, buzz boards, quads and mini-motos do not generally comply with construction and use legislation and vehicle standards so are therefore, restricted to off-road use only.
